Main Responsibilities of Program Advisor.
  • PROGRAM SUPPORT:program support and backstopping to on-going projects with spcial responsibility for gender and women empowerment.
  • Program development and management: Participate in the planning and development of new projects on biochar, conservation farming, climate adaptations and other as relevant
  • Technical Assistance: In collaboration with key personell from the HQ to provide technical assitance in implementation of programme activities and ensure high quality added value to relevant partnership and joint interventions.
  • Result-tracking: Participate in the design and implementation of monitoring framework and systems for tracking of results and results reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Minimum MSc in Agribusiness/Climate adaptations/Entrepreneurship/Local Business Development, Bio waste utilization or other equivalent field.
  • Solid experience, preferably also formal background, within women empowerment , preferably linked to entrepreneurship and association leadership.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in development programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, incuding budget management.
  • Strong skills in result tracking and results reporting is desirable.
  • Experience in dealing with international donor agencies and organisations
  • Knowledgeable about development policies, government interventions and priorities etc.
  • International experience from East and Southern Africa will be valued.
  • Excellent computer/internet skills as well as strong self-administration skills
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili, written and spoken.
  • Must be Tanzanian.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong prior experience with community participatory surveys
  • Skills in developing and implementing M&E plans
  • High competency in database and using analytical software
  • Conversant in adult learning methodology

BASIC FUNCTION:

TASKS:

  • In-depth knowledge of water supply and sanitation
